Arrival by public transport

When building the hotel, a special focus was put on energy saving and sustainability. Therefore we also recommend choosing public transport for joining the hotel. We would like to thank you for arriving at the hotel with the tramway. We call it the green shuttle. Simply present your tramway ticket at check-in, and your first drink is on us.*

Coming from the airport by tramway

The fastest, easiest and cheapest way for reaching the hotel when coming from the airport is the tramway. The tram stop is just opposite the main exit of Zurich Airport at ground level. Take number 10 (direction of Zürich Bahnhofplatz/HB) or 12 (direction of Zürich Bahnhof Stettbach). After about 4 minutes exit at the second stop (Glattbrugg Unterriet). Cross the rails, turn left and then right at the traffic lights. You will be facing the hotel.

The cost for a single ride is 4.40 CHF. Any current method of payment is accepted by the ticket machine at the stop. Alternatively tickets are on sale at the SBB counter inside the airport building.

Coming from central station (Hauptbahnhof) by tramway or train

You don’t need to step over for coming from Zurich downtown. Take tramway number 10 (direction of the airport) at the south entrance of central station. After about 30 minutes exit at Glattbrugg Unterriet. Turn left and then right at the traffic lights. You will be facing the hotel.

Alternatively you can take any train to the airport and use the tramway as described above.

The cost for a single ride is 6.80 CHF. Any current method of payment is accepted by the ticket machine at the stop. Alternatively tickets are on sale at the SBB counter inside the train station.

Airport Shuttle²

In cooperation with a partner shuttle company Check-in Always, we are happy to offer a free shuttle service from Zurich Airport to our hotel from Monday to Sunday from 06:00 to 23:30.

The shuttle can be found between Terminals 1 and 2 and can be recognized by the Check-in Always logo. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes (XX:00 & XX:30)

From the hotel to Zurich airport we charge 5 CHF per person.

Taxi

If you want to arrive by taxi, this is possible from both destinations at any time. The taxi stand is located at the airport and the main train station directly in front of the main entrance.

The cost of a journey from the main station is approx. 60 CHF and from the airport approx. 20 CHF.

The prices are reduced to 48 CHF or 19 CHF if you request a taxi with the user code 444** at the hotel reception and inform the taxi driver about this before starting the journey.

Arriving by car

From Basel (A3)

Take the A3 towards Zurich. At the interchange 59-Limmattaler Kreuz, keep right and follow signs for E41/A4/E60 to St. Gallen/Flughafen/Nordring- Zurich (toll road 9.9 km)

Take exit 62-Zurich-Seebach to Glattbrugg/Rümlang. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit to Birchstrasse and countinue onto to Flughofstrasse. Then turn right and stay on Flughofstrasse. turn left into Riethofstrasse and after only 100m the hotel will be on your left side.

From Luzern (A2, A14; A4, A3)

Take the A2 towards Zurich. Keep right to continue on A14, follow signs for Zurich/Zug and Merge onto A4.

At the interchange 31-Zurich-West keep left and follow sings for E41/A3/A4 towards Bern/Basel/St. Gallen/Westring – Zurich. Continue to follow A4/E41.

Take Exit 62 – Zurich Seebach towards Glattbrugg/ Rümlang.

At the Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Bircherstrasse and continue onto Flughofstrasse turn right to stay on the Flughofstrasse. After 260 m turn left onto Riethofstrasse. The hotel will be after 100 m on your left.

From Schaffhausen (A4, then A1)

Take A4/E41 southbound. After 23.7 km keep right at the fork and follow signs for E41/E60/A1/A4 Zurich/Wülflingen. Merge onto A1/A4/E41/E60

At the interchange E63-Zurich–North keep right and follow signs for E51 towards Bülach/Flughafen

After 1.8 km take the exit 8-Glattbrugg and keep right at the fork to continue towards Schaffhauserstrasse/route 4. Keep left after 170 m and follow signs for Glattbrugg.

Turn left onto Schaffhausertrasse/Route 4. Turn left onto Riethofstrasse and the hotel will be on your right after 250 m.
